  Very deceptive business practices, and poor customer service. I went to this store today with a 50% coupon and the manager told me it was valid for 50% off 5 items. Then at the check-out the cashier told me it was only valid with a Banana Republic credit card and asked if I wanted to sign up for one. I should have looked up the terms and conditions on the spot because when I got home I noticed there was nothing about having to use a Banana Republic credit card. I called the manager and they said I’d have to drive all the way back two days later when he’s around so they can do the price adjustment. How about you just fix it on your end and put the difference back on my card? I’m not driving all the way back there because you screwed up. I’m also fairly confident your cashier lied about my coupon just to get me to sign up for your card. I’m not walking back in your store. I’m going to buy my overpriced, sweatshop made clothes somewhere else.

  Banana republic sells tamer, nicer clothing than other nearby places. You might guess that from the nice window displays from the outside. Note the running manikins if they are still there.
